Hi Dolls!
I was so not ready to end my three day weekend! I slept in Sunday-Monday and didn’t do a whole lot, which was amazing. How was your long weekend?

Here’s a look I did on Monday with my new Urban Decay shadow:

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Products Used:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin all over lid and along lower lashes.
-Urban Decay Flash eyeshadow all over lid, just past the crease and along lower lashes.
-MAC Nocturnelle blended lightly into the outer corners of eyes.
-MAC Dazzlelight as a brow highlight and lightly blended into the inner corners.
-Revlon Colorstay liquid liner in blackest black.
-Stila Eye Kajal in Onyx on waterline.
-Covergirl Lashblast mascara in Black.

The pictures didn’t come out as sharp as I wanted, I think I may have had it on the wrong setting lol. This was a really bright and fun look and I can’t wait to wear it with fake lashes for a night out.

Here’s to a new week!

Stormy Eyes and a Mini Haul

Photobucket I had to! LOL! ❀ this show!

Hello Beauties,
I’m watching a rerun of Teen Mom and seriously thinking about going to bed early tonight. I’ve been so tired the last few weeks, not sleeping enough! I may just be adjusting to school again, who knows? Even though we’re still in summer, I missed the rain and cold last week and created an eye of the day that reminded me of a storm.

TRESemme 24 Hour Root Boosting Spray

Photobucket A sweet puppy at the Brea mall pet store :-), he posed and everything!

Hi Beauties,
How are all of you doing? I’m getting back into the school/studying schedule and very much loving my merchandising class. I received some Target gift cards for my bday and replenished all of my hair and face necessities; I picked up one new/different item, it was Tresemme’s 24 hour root boosting spray and I LOVE IT!

Photobucket

I normally use the Big Sexy hair products for volume, but they’re kind of pricey and they tend to leave my hair feeling stiff and not very touchable. All I wanted from this product was a little boost for my roots when I dry it. I let my hair air dry a bit and then I sprayed the root booster through my roots and at the ends of my hair, flipped my head upside down and dried it on high heat. My hair was sooo voluminous and SOFT! I was able to run my fingers through all of it without any tug and the volume lasted two days without washing.

This product didn’t Β leave build up and it has a very light, clean scent that didn’t linger. My hair stayed shiny for two days and all I needed to revamp the volume on the second day was a blast of cool air from my hair dryer.

Overall an awesome product for $4 at Target :-). Rating: 5/5.

What’s your favorite volumizing product?

Army Green Obsession

Happy Sunday Babes πŸ™‚

The military trend has had a hold on me since the start of this year, when we first started to see it come into the stores. My fashion merchandising professor had us follow a trend from January until May in a journal of pictures/notes; I chose the military trend. I had to train myself to spot it in stores, on people, in magazines, on TV, everywhere! Over the course of the semester I really came to love the trend. The colors were my favorite part. Olive greens, beiges, browns, and the antiqued gold details can go from day to night and they look good on just about everyone.
Today, I’m in faded jeans, a beige cami, white t, army green sandals with antique gold detail, an antique gold bangle and earrings, and a soft brown worn leather purse. To complement the outfit, I put together the eye look below:

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Products used:
-MAC shimmermoss paint pot in the lid, stopping right at the crease and Painterly paint pot from the crease to the brow and along the lower lashes.
-MAC sumptuous olive eyeshadow packed in to the lid and blended up a little bit past he crease. Also blended along the lower lashline.
-Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow duo in Razzle Dazzle, using the gold on the inner corners of the eyes.
-MAC Dazzlelight as a highlight along the brow.
-Revlon Colorstay liquid liner in blackest black.
-Stila Eye Kajal in Onyx
-Covergirl Lashblast Fusion mascara in Blackest Black.

Face:
-Makeup Forever Mat Velvet+
-MAC MSF in Medium
-MAC Springsheen blush
-Cargo Bronzer

Lips:
-MAC Pretty Plush Plushglass

What do you think of the military trend?

Copper Eyes

Photobucket Snacking on some mangoes!

Hi Beautiful Ladies,

What are you up to on this lovely Saturday? I’ve been home cleaning all day, it’s actually kind of nice! My room is now spotless and everything is reorganized and put away. I’m a neat freak, so a clean room means a smile on my face. Here’s a quick look I did today while playing with colors (I’m trying to think of a good look for my bday celebrations next weekend :-)). The liner is a lot more dramatic and extended than what I would normally wear during the day, but it made me think of Cleopatra at sunset.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

It took me about 5 mins to get this look together. Here are the products used:

-Mac Amber Lights eyeshadow all over the lid and along the lower lash line.
-Sonia Kashuk Eyeshadow Duo in Razzle Dazzle; the gold was blended into the inner corners and the highlight was used along the brow.
-Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner.
-Stila Eye Kajal on the waterline.
-MAC Zoomlash mascara.

I’m going to give myself a mani/pedi and watch documentaries on Hulu tonight. What are your plans?

NYX Grapefruit

Photobucket My friend Ashley and I in Vegas earlier this year :-).

Hi Dolls!

I hope your week is coming along pretty well; mine is moving…slowly lol. I got out of work today and came home to give myself a mani/pedi and picked NYX’s Grapefruit as the color. I picked this polish up at a little store near my house for $1.99, not too shabby! The pictures don’t quite capture the color, it is an orange jelly with pink in it…weird description, but that’s what it looks like to me.
