Happy Sunday Beauties!
The bf took me on a lovely date yesterday to a historic restaurant called The Sycamore Inn located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, along Route 66. We spent 3 hours there enjoying the amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re nearby, it’s beautiful, and the inside reminds me of a place that Don Draper from Mad Men would have a cocktail in after work :-).
We started off with drinks and appetizers on their porch area:
A classic Cosmo and a Creamsickle.
The Sycamore Bellini made with vodka, peach schnapps, and champagne. This was my favorite drink of the night and will be my wedding drink someday lol.
House flat bread with creme fraiche, wood smoked bacon, gruyere, and caramelized onion. I can’t even properly express how delicious this was. I want to eat this all day, every day.
The bf and I :-).
Then we moved into the lounge/bar area for dinner. I forgot to take a picture, but it’s dimly lit, with dark furniture, and they have Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and big band music playing. It feels really cozy and romantic.
Green tea martini. Sooo good, but sooo strong lol.
We thought the lounge looked so Mad Men-esque, that the bf ordered an Old Fashioned. If you haven’t had one before, let me tell you, it will put hair on your chest lol.
Danny had the prime rib french dip.
I had the steak burger. OMG, best burger of my life! Do you see the tiny ketchup bottle? Hilariously cute.
This was one of the best dinner dates I’ve ever had, and wouldn’t change anything about it. Thank you for taking me, BF! Xoxo!
If you would like to visit, here’s the direct link to their site: http://www.thesycamoreinn.com/
Here are some pics of the eye makeup I wore out :-):
Products used: Original UDPP, Urban Decay Strip e/s all over lid and along lower lashes, MAC Black Tied e/s along outer corners, MAC Mylar e/s as a highlight, Ulta mineral e/s in snow as an inner corner highlight, Revlon Colorstay liquid liner, Revlon Colorstay pencil liner, and Covergirl LashBlast Mascara.
I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!

i want to go now! how was the pricing?
It wasn’t bad! We went during their prime time hours (4:30-8). All of the drinks and appetizers were half off and we ordered food from the prime time menu, plates were like 10-16 each. If you order dinner from that’s not on the prime time menu, you can spent upwards of $40 a plate I think. It’s a really nice date place, you and your chango would like it 🙂
The Inn is delicious! I’ve only been there once, but I’ll always remember how good the food was!
You look so pretty and you and the BF are so cute!!
Yes, we’ll both wear heels when we meet for drinks! Yay! I probably won’t be able to until after the wedding, this month is just going to be so crazy, but I DEFINITELY want to get together!!
Thank you :D. Of course! We’ll have to invite Reyna and Melanie (or Elaine as your phone wanted to call her lol).
I want to go now – our anniversary is a week from Friday so maybe…
I want to try the bellini and an old fashioned, lol.
Your eye makeup looked awesome!! as always
You should! The old fashioned cleared my sinuses with just a sip, I don’t think I could drink a whole one. And thank you 😀
Woo! Pineapple chicken Saturday!
we’re going a week from Friday 🙂 and yay for our dinner bff date saturday 🙂
Your eye make-up is beautiful as usual! 😀
Thank you 🙂
That restaurant had me at “bacon and caramelized onion flatbread.” I must make that for myself…as soon as I stop drooling on my keyboard.
You have NO idea how amazing it is…if you can recreate it, I will sure as heck try to as well lol. I think it would be good on a wheat flat bread too. Best appetizer I’ve ever had, hands down.
i want all of that. especially the cocktails and calamari. hahaha
You need to visit when you’re in Cali 🙂
