TRESemme Dry Shampoo

Happy Saturday Dolls!
I’m having breakfast with my sisters, banana pancakes and eggs, yum! How are you doing?

During one of my walks through Ulta, I spotted Tresemme’s dry shampoo and grabbed it immediately. I have been on the hunt for a good dry shampoo forever and the idea of getting one for $4.99 seemed pretty great. My hope was that it would be amazing and I would type up this review full of great things to say.

Sadly, that didn’t happen.

The first time I tried the dry shampoo, my hair had been washed the day before in the morning and it didn’t feel dirty at all, but I’m just weird and know that it hasn’t been washed and I’m very aware of it all day. I brushed my hair and shook the bottle well, following the directions of spraying it at the roots and then waiting a minute before brushing it out. Everything was going well until I brushed the shampoo out and went to run my hands through my hair. My hair looked clean enough, but I could FEEL the shampoo on my roots. Deciding that maybe it needed some time to settle or…dry…or something…I got ready and headed to work.

It didn’t settle. It didn’t dissipate. *sigh of disappointment*

As the day went on, my hair felt more and more like there was lots of product in it. By the time 5 rolled around and I was leaving work, I had to put it up in a ponytail because it felt so gross. I kept asking my friend if she could tell something was in my hair and she said no…but my gosh, I felt it! I would have been fine if I just hadn’t put anything in my hair that morning. I had to return the bottle and buy a new nail polish to soothe the disappointment.

Maybe it was me, maybe it’ll be different if you try it. It’s cheap enough and the return policy at Ulta is pretty good, let me know if you try it!

What’s your favorite dry shampoo?

Have a great weekend dolls!

  1. hey girl. cute blog. keep it up. you’re really pretty too. so i was just wondering, i am pale like you (yay for pale). i’m an NC15 in MAC foundation. i was just wondering what are some of your favorite blushes for pale skin tones?

    • Hello šŸ™‚
Thank you for visiting! My favorite blushes for pale skin are the Cargo HD blush/highlighter (it only comes in one color from what i saw), Well Dressed by MAC, and Springsheen by MAC. I learned that I can wear just about any blush, but you have to use a good brush and you have to shake off the excess before applying. MAC’s 187 brush gives you a really evenly distributed color and it leaves you with a airbrushed finish.

  2. Okay, I really want to try dry shampoo, but I’m just kind of skeptical. I have fine hair and pretty much need to wash it daily. I’m going to give it a shot, but I’m not expecting much!
